Chris Edwards
Technical Director
Chris Edwards brings elite-level experience across the professional, collegiate, and academy landscape, combining a proven playing career with championship-winning coaching pedigree. A former professional in Scotland and NCAA Division I player, Edwards understands the demands of competing and succeeding at the highest levels of the game.
As both a player and coach, Edwards has won USL National Championships, demonstrating a consistent ability to perform and lead in high-pressure environments. In the youth development space, he has also led programs to an ECNL National Title in a Director of Coaching role, solidifying his reputation as a top-level developer of elite talent.
Edwards holds some of the game’s highest coaching credentials, including a USSF A License, USSF Academy Director License, UEFA B License with the Scottish Football Association, and the USSF National Youth License. His approach blends modern methodology with real-world experience to create a complete, high-performance development pathway.
Known for his holistic coaching philosophy, Edwards connects with players through energy, enthusiasm, and humor—while maintaining a relentless standard that pushes athletes to reach the next level. Throughout his career, he has coached and developed multiple international, collegiate, and professional players, helping guide them through every stage of the pathway.
Jamie Smith
Technical Specialist
Jamie Smith is a highly experienced soccer professional with a distinguished playing and coaching career at the highest levels of the game. A former player with Celtic FC, he competed in the UEFA Champions League, gaining invaluable experience in elite European competition. He also represented Scotland at the international level, performing in high-performance environments against top global talent.
During his professional career in the United States, Jamie was part of the MLS Cup-winning Colorado Rapids, bringing a proven track record of success and understanding of winning environments at the highest level of the game.
Following his playing career, Jamie transitioned into coaching, where he has built a reputation for developing players through technical precision, tactical understanding, and elite training standards. He has served as an MLS Academy Director with Nashville Soccer Club, leading player development pathways, designing training methodologies, and overseeing the progression of youth players into elite competition environments.
With over 20 years of experience, Jamie specializes in: Advanced technical development, Position-specific training, Game intelligence and decision-making, Building complete, confident players. His coaching philosophy is rooted in detail, discipline, and modern player development, creating a professional environment where players are challenged to improve every session.
James Le
Technical Specialist
James Le is a highly respected coach and player development specialist with experience across the youth, academy, and collegiate levels. Currently serving as an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach, Le brings a proven track record of developing elite players through top environments including Penn Fusion Soccer Academy, Sporting Athletic Club, and Philadelphia Union Youth.
Le has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Player Pathway and Director of Zone 1 Girls, while also contributing to the management of a WPSL team. His experience extends into the Olympic Development Program at both state and regional levels, highlighting his ability to identify and develop top talent.
A former standout player at Eastern University, Le earned Regional All-American honors along with multiple All-Conference accolades, including Rookie of the Year. He began his collegiate coaching career at Rosemont College, helping lead the program during his tenure.
Holding both a USSF “B” License and UEFA “B” License, Le combines international coaching education with a modern, detail-oriented approach. Known for his energy, leadership, and technical expertise, he continues to build high-performing players and teams while progressing toward his USSF A and UEFA A Licenses
